ProfitMax FX is an online demo trading evaluation prop firm. We offer our clients the chance to complete our assessment and prove their trading skills with no risks to them for just the price of the upfront fee paid for the evaluation.
The one-step evaluation process allows traders to demonstrate their skills in just one stage instead of going through 2 Phases. After the set targets are passed without violating the Challenge rules, the traders will move into the next phase which is the Live simulated Account.
Before issuing a Funded Account or any type of payout, we require you to verify your ID and pass our KYC verification. The process will take no more than 5 minutes. You will be asked to submit a valid ID, and a selfie that matches your face to the one on your submitted ID.

Driver’s License, Passport, ID Card, Residence Permit
Proof of address within the last 60 days, this includes:, Bank statements, Utility bills, Phone bills
You will receive your Trading Platform and Dashboard credentials within 5 minutes. How ever, in some cases the process can take up to 24 hours. In that case, email our support and our team will expedite the process for you.
No, there is no limit to the numbers of evaluation attempts, provided they pay the evaluation fee for each attempt.
There is no time limit for our ProfitMax FX evaluation process Challenge. So take your time, apply the right risk-management, be consistent and make profits!
There is a 5% Daily Drawdown on our One-Step Evaluation Challenge.
This Drawdown is calculated adding the closed trades to the floating positions and it gets reset every day at 5pm EST.
The 10% Maximum Total Drawdown is a trailing metric of the account balance and equity.
Example: If you start with a $100,000 account, your maximum loss level will be set at $90,000. If your account balance or equity reaches $110,000, your trailing drawdown meter will be set at $100,000. The trailing drawdown will always trail the highest balance or equity by 10%. It is at the traders discretion to manage risk according to these rules when trading our funded accounts. A violation of these drawdown rules will result in a loss of the funded account.
There are no restrictions on trading style, however, certain strategies are prohibited as they go against our terms of use policy. Any strategy that takes advantage of the demo environment will result in the termination of a trader’s account, whether in the evaluation phase or while funded.
Here are some, not limited, examples of prohibited strategies:
Guaranteed limit orders, Data feed manipulation, Trading on delayed charts or during High Intensity News, hedging between 2 accounts.
Yes, the use of trader copiers to copy your own personal trades onto your funded account with ProfitMax FX is permitted. You can use your PMFX account as your master account, or copy trades over to it from your other trading accounts you may have with us.
When using a copy trader, be sure that identical orders are not placed within identical time intervals as other traders on our platform. This can occur through the use of widespread EA’s, account management services, and 3rd party signals. Any form of consecutive identical orders through two or more users on our platform will lead to a violation.
EA’s are enabled, however we do recommend you use a unique set file or confirm that no other traders are using the same EA on our servers. This will prevent our system from picking up any form of matching orders.
Yes, our simulated funded accounts can be merged after passing the evaluation phase.
Please note we allow a maximum account merging balance up to $$600,000.
You can trade on our partnered trading platform using MT4.
To request a payout, simply reply to your credentials email, and after your account is reviewed, we will process and send the payout split through Deel, Bank Transfer or Crypto.
Please note traders must be eligible for withdrawal to submit a withdrawal request
You will receive your first profit split payout after 5 minimum trading days on your simulated live account.
